July, and our new booking system through the website, saw a good turnout at the Faringdon Business Breakfast Group. It is always interesting to see the wide range of business people who come to our informal, friendly group. This month we had a couple of accountants, a couple of financial advisors, a business coach, a trainer, a virtual assistant, an estate agent, a company curator, a retail shop, a chiropractor, a mortgage advisor, and an IT expert 🙂
As you know, networking works best when people regularly attend so the group can get to know each other as individuals and really understand what their business is all about. Many of the attendees have been coming for several years – but it is always encouraging to see new members and we were delighted to see 2 first timers this month. I hope you found us welcoming and you will return next month.
Our focus this month was on small group networking and after the usual 60 second round of introductions, and the usual excellent cooked breakfast from The Bell Hotel, members naturally split into small groups to find out more about each other. Time passed quickly and it was a shame to have to interrupt to bring the meeting to a close. I’m sure this additional knowledge about each other will result in business referrals in the future.
Our next meeting will be on 7th August. Julie Nicholls will be talking about How Language can Make or Break Your Business. All are welcome – but you will need to book here.
